Daytona International Speedway: Event Preview

After an eleven week delay, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Gradient Racing will finally make it’s IMSA Competition debut this Saturday evening at Daytona International Speedway. The Austin based squad will compete in the re-arranged season opener of the IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Cup. The two hour, forty minute race is the first of seven rounds this season utilizing the sprint format.

Gradient Racing enters IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Championship in GTD

Today, Gradient Racing announced that it will join the 2020 IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Series. The Austin, Texas-based team will run its Acura NSX GT3 Evo in the GTD Class at all eight rounds starting with the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 17-20). The driver line-up will have a familiar look as the team’s regular professional, Marc Miller, will once again partner with the New York-based British racer, Till Bechtolsheimer.

Pole and a Podium in Las Vegas for Gradient Racing

A unique day-night double-header at Las Vegas Motor Speedway brought Gradient Racing’s debut season in the Blancpain GT World Challenge America to a close. Pole position and second place in race Race 1 was followed up by a fifth place finish under the lights at the venue situated less than 17 miles North of the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Trent Hindman joins Gradient Racing for Road America

Today, Gradient Racing announced the addition of Trent Hindman to its Blancpain GT World Challenge America Pro-Am lineup for this weekend’s races at Road America, Wisconsin. Gradient Racing Announces its Racing Program for 2019.

Gradient Racing Launches in Austin

Former CJ Wilson Racing Team Manager, Andris Laivins, today announced the formation of a new operation, Gradient Racing. The team will continue to operate out of its base in Austin, Texas and it is making plans to enter its home event, the CoTA 24 in November with its Acura NSX GT3. The team is currently evaluating a number of race programs both domestic and international and is in active discussion with a number of partners regarding GT3, GT4 and TCR options for 2019.
